How do I get started?

Handpiece repair is easy with these 3 simple steps. (It only takes a couple minutes, we promise!) 

Step 1. Request a Repair. Select either highspeed or slow speed handpiece and enter the repair info for each handpiece. Add each handpiece to the cart. Your account holds onto the information to speed things up the next time you sign in.

Step 2. Check out. We accept all major credit cards.

Step 3. Print out the UPS shipping label and attach it to a padded envelope or a box and schedule a UPS pickup. Thats's it! We'll take it from here!

Which handpiece manufacturers do you repair?

We repair handpieces from the following manufacturers: Midwest, Kavo, Star, Bien Air, Centra Champion, Lares, Lynx, Medidenta, NSK, W&H, Dabi Atlante, MK-dent and many others.

What are the different types of services that you offer?

Handpiece Repair: We will test and diagnose your handpiece and get your prior authorization if your handpiece requires additional repairs or parts. We take pride in being thorough-- our technicians will take care to check all the functions and parts, including bearings, chuck, air leaks, water leaks, and clogs. 

Our technicians will determine if it requires additional parts. We will notify you by email and request your authorization before we perform the additional repairs or charge you for additional parts.  

Do you offer a warranty for handpiece repairs?

Yes! If we have repaired your handpiece within the last 3-6 months and it is not operating correctly, Send it in and we will repair it again - free of charge.

High Speed Handpieces - 3 Months Warranty

Slow Speed Handpieces - 6 Months Warranty

Electrics - 4 Month Warranty

Do rates change if my handpiece needs additional repairs or replaced parts?

Our Super Overhaul covers most repairs, but if your handpiece requires extra parts or repairs we'll always get in touch to ask for your authorization before going ahead with any additional repairs (i.e. rethreading backends, replacing fiber optics, clearing water lines, replacing fiber optics, repairing dented heads and other repairs)  

What if my handpiece cannot be fixed?

In the rare event that your handpiece cannot be fixed we will return your handpiece and only charge you a diagnosis/estimate fee ($39.00). All other charges will be waived.

What is the turnaround time for a repair?

We'll always do our best to overnight your repaired handpiece within 24-48 hours of its arrival at Repair Dental. Special repairs may take more time, but we'll always let you know what to expect.

Where do I put in my Discount Code?

You can enter in your Discount Code right after you request a repair and add it to the cart. It will be on the right side of the page before you finalize your order.
